Oconomowoc Silver Streak has been a past recipient of Waukesha County's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). We are very grateful for the support from this important community program.
Waukesha County's Division of Community Development administers the CDBG & HOME programs from the U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development, which are used to provide decent housing, establish & maintain a suitable living environment & expand economic opportunities, particularly for low and moderate-income persons. Waukesha County uses these community development resources to fund programs, services & projects that provide affordable housing, emergency shelter, and economic development, infrastructure improvement, neighborhood revitalization and public service activities, among others.

As part of her legacy, Alice Kozlowski, a former Silver Streak volunteer dispatcher, will continue to support Silver Streak through a very generous endowment with the Oconomowoc Area Foundation. We are truly grateful for Alice's commitment to the community that she loved and the support she continues to provide the Silver Streak.
The Oconomowoc Area Foundation is a supporting foundation of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, a family of more than 1,100 individual charitable funds, each created by donors to serve the charitable causes of their choice.
